As one of the guest speakers at the Countrywide Annual conference held in Perth, I updated Members on major political issues, pre-election campaign planning and emphasised the importance of advocating for independent family-owned businesses as well as supporting suppliers and the sector in general. Challenging times but these business people have shown time and time again how resilient they are.
